The Jean Foundation was founded in 2018 by trustees Lee and Liz after discovering the powerful impact that horses and equine therapy had on children and young people. Through a range of engaging tasks, equine therapy allowed individuals to gain confidence, increase self-esteem, and become part of a team, leading to better interpersonal and communication skills.
Our trustee, Oisin Murphy, who is a champion jockey, shares our enthusiasm for promoting equine therapy as a means of engaging, assisting, and supporting vulnerable individuals.
When we established The Jean Foundation charity, it was only appropriate that we enlist Oisin as a trustee to promote the services available and create possibilities for children and young people in the Northwest region.
At The Jean Foundation, we believe that equine therapy can empower vulnerable children and young people and help them develop the skills they need to succeed.
If you believe in the power of equine therapy and want to support our mission, please consider donating to The Jean Foundation today. Your support will help us make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Thank you for your support.
